Policies & FAQs

Good food starts with a clear plan. Here’s what to expect when booking Chef Joshua for meal prep, private dinners, or catering.

Booking & service time

Every booking starts with your menu, location, guest count, and schedule. Your final menu, included services, and price are confirmed before booking. Hourly meal prep has a three-hour minimum. Menu planning and grocery shopping count toward billed service time.

Groceries & pricing

For hourly meal prep, groceries are charged separately and receipts are provided. Per-person dinner and catering packages include food as described in your quote. Premium ingredients, staff, rentals, travel, and applicable tax are itemized when needed.

Payment & receipts

Payment is due immediately after service. Itemized invoices and grocery receipts are provided. Completed services and groceries already purchased are nonrefundable.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Please send cancellation or rescheduling requests in writing to josh049jones@gmail.com as early as possible. The cancellation terms for your service are confirmed with your booking.

Your kitchen & home access

Food is prepared on-site in a suitable kitchen. Equipment and access needs are discussed before your visit. If you will be away, arrange a key or garage code directly with Chef Joshua. The cooking area is cleaned and the kitchen is left as found.

Menus & dietary preferences

Share allergies, dietary needs, and foods you prefer to avoid before your menu is finalized. Menus are personalized to your household or event, and ingredient choices are discussed during planning.

Meal quantities & reheating

Meal quantities depend on your menu, household size, and booked time. Meal prep includes packaging and reheating instructions so your meals are easy to enjoy.
